Agnes Valchar Hindman

Agnes “Aggie” Valchar Hindman, 86, of Mt. Prospect, Illinois passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2026. She was born January 23, 1940 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania to the late Martin and Katherine Valchar.

She is survived by her three children, Jack (Jayne) Hindman, Sue (Glenn) Rand, and Debbie (Scott) Stenger; four grandchildren, Johnny (Cameron) Hindman, Jenn (Coby) Kavanaugh, Anna Stenger, and Emily Stenger; four great-grandchildren, Carter, Ava, Sawyer, and Presley; one sister, Millie Hunter; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jack Hindman; and siblings, Stella Jezik, Rudy Valchar, Bill Valchar, Clem Valchar, Betty Ciuchta, Margie Ulizio, Mary Ann Harnadek, and Joe Valchar.

A service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church, 1321 N. Burning Bush Lane, Mt. Prospect, IL 60056. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate Aggie’s life.
