Allen 'Al' Butler

Allen 'Al' Butler, of Elburn, Illinois and formerly of Mesa, Arizona, peacefully passed away December 24, 2022 at the age of 63. In 2018, he founded the nonprofit organization Albright Good Shepherd, where he saved the lives of animals while helping special needs children. Al was a skilled dog whisperer and could train and help the most unadoptable dogs, who would otherwise have been euthanized. He had a gift with animals as well as with people.

Al is survived by his loving fiancé Tiesha Halstead; dearly beloved grandson Gionni Halstead; cherished sister Jeannie Meier; and a host of friends. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

A celebratioin of life will be held; date and time pending. Updates wull be posted to Al's social media once determined.
