Alonzo “Al”James Patterson

Alonzo “Al” James Patterson, age 69, after a long illness, passed away on December 21, 2019. Beloved husband of Wanda Lee Hill Patterson for 35 years. Loving father to Wesley James Patterson, Jeffrey James Patterson, Herbert (Khaliha) Ladd, and Jeannean S. Ladd and adopted dog Zo. Cherished grandfather to Anthony Lena, Kyla and Colin Ladd. Fond brother of Sandra Price and Darryl Patterson. Beloved uncle to Corey Price and Brandi Patterson. Alonzo is preceded in death by his parents; Helen Tillman and Bernard Patterson, and brother Bernard Jr. Alonzo was a loyal Chicago sports fan, always rooting for the White Sox, Bears, and Bulls. He was a longtime employee with the Cook County Juvenile Courts. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
