Alonzo Sanders

Alonzo Sanders, 69, of Park Forest, formerly of Chicago's West Pullman, born in Shaw, MS, transitioned after a long illness August 21, 2025.

Beloved spouse of 40 years to Jacqueline. Loving father to Kizi, Tamara (the late Deshawn), Tyshinna (Richard), & Takaylah. Cherished grandfather to Keelan, Keshawn, Kemari, & Keanu. Dearest brother to John, Nate, Jesse, Ed Lee, Gail, the late Joyce, & the late Elizabeth.

Alonzo was a long time driver for Aries Charter & Inter Parking and a Deacon for the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Mississippi Valley State, where he majored in Biology and pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.
