Andres Luna

Andres (Andy) Luna, 75, of the Irving Park Chicagoland area, formerly of, Comerío, Puerto Rico. Transitioned to Eternal Life, August 1, 2022.

Devoted Husband to Blanca Luna for 59 years. Loving Father to Iris Melendez-Lugo, Evelyn Roman & Elizabeth Rosa-Luna. Beloved Grandfather to Roberto Melendez, Melanie Melendez-Sellergren, Juan Roman, Natalie Maldonado, Angie Velez, Amy & Angel Perez, and Elizabeth Moctezuma. Andres was blessed to have the opportunity to meet all of his great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Luisito Luna.

Andres was a dedicated and loyal longtime employee of Comcast for 30+ years. Aside from being a proud member of The Moody Bible Institute, Andres was a man of honor, integrity, curiosity, comedy, honesty and a very talented and accomplished musician, especially when it came to playing the piano and guitar. Andres’s love for music was only surpassed by his love and dedication to God. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered as our family’s Great Provider and an example of a Great Man.

A church service in Andy's honor will be held on August 19, 2022 at Iglesia Bethany, El Buen Pastor UMC located at 3900 N. Albany Ave., Chicago, IL at 6:00pm.
