It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angel Fuentes on August 16, 2023. Angel was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many during his time on this earth. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.

Born in Rio Bamba, Ecuador, Angel brought joy and warmth to everyone he met. His kind soul, compassionate nature, and infectious smile were just a few of the qualities that made him such a remarkable person. Angel valued family above all else and was a devoted husband to his loving wife Diane, and a caring father to his two daughters Gina and Angela.

Growing up with his siblings Ximena (Orlando) Amaya, Janet Fuentes-Zuniga, Miriam(Jamie) Martinez, Frank Salazar(Lissy), the late Marlene, the late Carlos, and the late Raul, Angel developed strong bonds that lasted a lifetime. He cherished the moments spent with his family and created lasting memories through joyful gatherings.

One of Angel's greatest passions was gardening. He had a green thumb and could often be found tending to his beautiful plants with care and dedication. His love for nature was evident in the vibrant array of flowers that adorned his backyard. For him, gardening was not just a hobby but a therapeutic experience that brought him peace.

In addition to gardening, Angel had an immense talent for cooking. He perfected the art of preparing Ecuadorian Pork, capturing the flavors of his homeland and sharing them with loved ones. Nothing made him happier than gathering around the table during festive occasions to enjoy his delectable creations. His culinary expertise brought people together and created lifelong memories.

Outside the kitchen, Angel dedicated himself as a banquet captain in the hospitality industry. With his warm personality and impeccable attention to detail, he ensured that every event he oversaw was nothing short of perfection. His professionalism and genuine care for others made him a beloved figure among his colleagues and clients.

Angel will always be remembered for his unwavering love and immense kindness. He had a heart of gold and would go above and beyond to help those around him. His humble nature and selflessness touched the lives of everyone he encountered. Angel's magnetic personality made him an unforgettable presence in the lives of his nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

As we bid farewell to Angel Fuentes, we are reminded that life is precious and that the memories we create together are what truly matter. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire us to live each day with gratitude, kindness, and love.
