Anthony W. Rodgers

Anthony W. Rodgers, 66, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his home on November 12, 2022. He is survived by his loving daughters Martina Rodgers and Ashley Rodgers, along with his son-in-law Keith, whom he fondly referred to as 'Bud'; beloved grandchildren Treyvon, Jordan, Journey and Ashton; cherished sisters Cynthia Samuels, Sharon Samuels (the late James Williams), Shirley Samuels and Cherita Samuels; a host of treasured nieces, nephews and friends. 

Anthony was a doting father and grandfather who loved to spend time with his family. His most frequent piece of advice that he would offer them was to "never let them see you sweat". This wisdom was taken to heart as his daughters grew to become confident and poised. Anthony was a well fashioned gentleman and loved to play dominoes.  He will be deeply missed.

Remembering

The beauty of a memory is that it's always there,
Like a penny in your pocket,
You can take it anywhere.
And when your heart is heavy and your eyes are filled with tears,
You can focus on a memory and travel through the years.
Your heart can visit happy times,
When laughter filled the air, and the presence of your loved one, will lessen your despair.

In a lifetime of sweet memories,
Of one who loved you so......
