Arlene Rae Pozdol

Arlene R Pozdol (Harvey), age 84, passed away October 7, 2025 after battling a long illness. 

She was born and raised in Hammond, IN but relocated to Joliet, IL where she spent the last 50 years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas E, her parents Walter and Mary (Lukaczyk) Harvey, and her brother Richard Harvey. She is survived by her beloved children, Tracie (Rick) Jacobson of Chicago and Tom (Kimberly) Pozdol of Bloomington, IL; two grandchildren Erik and Shelby; two “grand dogs” Cutie and Cooper; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Arlene was a gift buyer at Shorewood Family Drugs and enjoyed interacting with her customers. 

A celebration of life will occur at a later date. We would like to thank the staff at Brookdale Lisle for their wonderful care and our family and friends for all of their support. Mom was the best and we will miss her dearly!
