Barbara Lynn Jones, 57, of Plano, Illinois, passed away on September 26, 2026. She was born on December 2, 1968, to Jacqueline Waters and the late Troy Waters

Barbara was the mother of Heather (Frank), Bailey (Jesse), and Michael, and grandmother of Logan, Sophie, and Ezio. She was a dear sister to Lyn, Mary, Kelly, and Adam. She was preceded in death by her brother, Chris, and is survived by her mother, Jacqueline; her children; her grandchildren; and her siblings.

Barbara’s personality was unforgettable. She was bold, charismatic and had a sense of humor that made people feel instantly at ease. She left her mark with one baby at a time kissing their cheeks with her red lipstick, a kiss that lingered long after she was gone. Those little smudges became memories of her presence and the love she gave. She was strong and determined to do what she wanted to do and that strength, certainty, and love will be missed more than words can carry.

May she be at peace now, held in the quiet comfort she so deeply deserves. May her spirit rest gently, and may the love she leaves behind continue to surround us.
