Barbara Sloan

Barbara Sloan, age 90, of Chicago, IL, peacefully passed away on May 4th, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Sloan. Barbara was a caring mother to Rhonda (Jeff) Fohr, Scott Sloan, and Laura (Tom) Caravette. She cherished her role as grandmother to Jackie (Nick) Gaiser, James Boyer, Sloan, Tommy, and Carli Caravette. She adored her great-grandchildren Austin, Elsie, and Henry Boyer. Barbara was also a dear sister to Shirley VanHook, Jaci McCollum, and Jerry Stineman, and was preceded in death by her siblings Ronnie Stineman and Cheryl Stineman. Many additional family members and friends loved her.

Barbara will be remembered for her loving spirit and the joy she brought to her family and friends. 

She and Bernard shared a bond of eternal love, and their lives will be celebrated together.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, IL. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Bernard & Barbara Sloan.
