Bernadette Juliann Kwarciany

Bernadette Juliann Kwarciany, 80, a lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away on February 12, 2021 at the ARK Hospice at Resurrection Hospital due to congestive heart failure. She was born on June 19, 1940 in Chicago to Pearl and Frank Kwarciany. Bernadette is survived by her long time partner Daniel Bender and many cousins. Her parents preceded her in death. Bernadette taught in the Chicago Public School system for several years. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and even tried her hand at cultivating a bee hive for honey. At her request Bernadette was cremated. There will be no service at this time due to COVID restrictions. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller park, Illinois.
