Bernard Paige, 68, Army Veteran of Hines, IL, passed away October 10, 2022.

Son of the late Ruthie Mae Paige, the late Elijah Jones & stepson of the late Isaiah Bud Pickett. Loving father of Latrice (Alex) Anderson, Andre West, Latoya Shelton & Dashanna Coleman. Cherished grandfather of Aryss Anderson, Ashanti Greenfield, Amia Shelton, Tyelle Coleman Jamari West and Messiah West. Cherished brother of Wanda Paige, Sharon (Steve) Adams, Royce (Gem) Paige, Violet Paige, Darcel (Melvin) Pickett, Pamela Pickett, Bonita (Tracy) Paige, Katrina (Paul) Grice, the late Louisa Pickett, the late Gregory Paige and the late Felicia Pickett.

After serving his country in the U.S. Army for 4 years, he was honorably discharged and became a longtime employee of the Westside VA Hospital. Bernard was a dear uncle and friend to many and will be dearly missed.
