Beverly Dolores Diehl

Beverly Dolores Diehl (formerly Kenney) Passed away October 29, 2022 at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. She was born October 17, 1944 in Chicago to Mary & Conrad Twarowski and moved to Lake in the Hills in 1969 after marrying her first husband Charles and started her family. She is survived by her children John “Derek” Kenney of North Carolina, Cheryl Lester of Crystal Lake, Jason Kenney (Renae) of Cary and Megan Noe (Justin) of Huntley, her Grandchildren, Devon Brunson (Karla), Sebastian Kenney, Christian Kenney, Jeremiah Kenney, Kiera Kenney, Jordin Kenney, Joseph Lester and Zachariah Kenney, and her siblings Diana Ross and Robert Twarowski.  Beverly was preceded in death by her first born son Jeffery and her parents Mary & Conrad. Beverly was always known as “Mom” to many family friends and the kids in Lake in the Hills that her children grew up with. She was known as the “cool Mom” by many and helped anyone in any way she could. Especially by opening her door to friends in need even when she struggled herself as a single parent for many years. She had a heart of gold and will be missed so very dearly.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday December 3, 2022 at 10:30am with a service at 11:30am at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 485 W. Woodstock St., Crystal Lake. With an after service gathering downstairs in the church to follow.
