With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Brittany Michelle Payton, who departed this life on April 13, 2026, at the age of 29.

Brittany was a radiant soul whose presence brought light, laughter, and love to all who knew her. Born on August 13, 1996, she grew into a woman defined by her strength, compassion, and unwavering spirit. She had a way of making people feel seen and valued, offering kindness freely and loving deeply.

She was known for her beautiful smile, her vibrant personality, and the warmth she carried wherever she went. Brittany found joy in life’s simple moments—time spent with family, late-night conversations with her Best Friend Olivia Hendrickson, music that spoke to her heart, and creating memories that will now be cherished forever.

To know Brittany was to experience genuine love. She was a devoted daughter, a loyal friend, and a guiding light to those fortunate enough to be in her life. Her laughter was contagious, her heart was generous, and her impact will never fade.

She leaves behind her mother Patti Akram her grandmother, Charlotte Caudill. And her aunt Cindy (Earl) Thompson uncle Charles (Jainie) Caudill ans her paternal Grandmother Sylvia Schluter and father Kendall Payton. A family who adored her, friends who will forever hold her in their hearts, and a legacy of love that will continue to live on through every life she touched.

Though her time here was far too short, Brittany’s spirit will remain eternal—in every shared story, every quiet memory, and every moment of love that reflects her beautiful soul.

A celebration of Brittany’s life will be held at a later date.
