Calvin C. Hilton, 89, US Marine Corps Veteran of Arlington Heights and formerly of Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood, at rest September 9, 2021. Beloved husband of Carol for sixty-one years. Loving father of Connie Swink, Bonnie (Raymond) Tobiaski and Brian Hilton. Cherished grandpa of Stephanie, Shannon, Sarah, Gary Jr., Erin, Ryan and Josh; great-grandfather of ten. Dear brother of the late Shirley Kaminski. Former proprietor of Cal's Drive-In (Montrose/Central). Longtime congregation member of Irving Park and 1st Baptist Church of Arlington Heights, where there will be a celebration of his life Friday, September 24th 2021 at 12:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to: Alzheimers Association, First Baptist Church of Arlington Heights or Moody Bible Institute in that order.

Back in the late 50's and early 60's, Cal and I were best friends who "did everything" together. We have remained best friends all these many years even after I left the Chicago area. Cal always "lit up the room" with his happy laughter and his winning personality. He will be loved and missed forever.
