Carina Salazar-Lopez, a kind and loving mother, was born on September 8, 1981, in Oaxaca, Mexico. She passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2024 in Chicago, Illinois.

Carina had a deep love for plants and her cat, Worina, she loved to spend her time nurturing them. Furthermore, she was very passionate about food, which she enjoyed sharing with her son.

Carina is survived by her cherished son, Brian Escudero. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
