Carol Nee (nee Smessaert), 88, of Lincolnshire and formerly of Chicago & Glenview, passed away August 18, 2021. Preceded in death by her parents Charles L. & Marguerite Smessaert. Loving mother of Meg (Adam), Michael (Barb), Mary (Patrick), Tim, Kathryn (Dan), Carrie (Dennis). Beloved grandmother of Jimmy (Lisa), Molly (Tony), Myles, Chanelle, Valerie, Colleen (Tyler), Kevin (Andrea), Conor (Ellen), Christopher, Allie, Caroline (Pem), William, Edward & Peter. Dear great-grandmother of Claire, Luca, Jack & Kathryn. Cherished sister of James Smessaert (Nancy). Loving aunt of many. Dear friend to many at Sedgebrook Community in Lincolnshire.
