First my sincere condolences for your loss.
I am her god- daughter but have never met her so my grief is real.
In 1954 she stood in as my godmother as requested by my late mother Juliette Lucille Shellander Cowdin with whom she was 'dear friends', I think on Chicago. She was also the lone bridesmaid/ maid of honor at my mother's wedding on December 12 1953, the year before, in Chicago,Ill.
However they eventually lost contact- or my mother just never mentioned her - after our family moved to Indiana, then Pittsburgh.
She was so pretty in my mother's wedding album- I would love to hear more about her and you all..?
So, if at all possible, I would very much like to hear from somebody soon as I have been looking for her for years.
