Carol Santino

Carol Santino, of Albany Park, went home on February 2, 2024, after battling breast cancer for 21 years.  Carol was the beloved companion of Greg Truchan for 29 years.  She was the much adored sister to Richard, Michael (Maria Henao), and Diane (Jeff Watry) Santino. She is pre-deceased by her brother Dominick Santino and her parents, Dominick Sr. and Bernice Santino. She loved and was beloved by many nieces and nephews including Andrew, Michael, Nicole, Nicholas, Alexis, and Maddie and by her great niece, Briana. She was pre-deceased by her niece, Jennifer. She was very close with her cousins Linda (Frank), Kathy (Mike), Nancy (Mark) and Kenny (pre-deceased), as well as many other family and friends. 

Carol worked for the phone company - first Illinois Bell then AT&T for 30 years. Family, friends, and holidays were most important to her. She loved to send cards and she never missed a birthday, Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas. She baked fantastic pound cakes and cookies. She loved to sing for weddings and karaoke. Carol will truly be missed.
