Carol Mae Schultz

Carol Mae Schultz, age 98, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at Resurrection Village Life Center Nursing Home. Born in Chicago, Illinois on January 29, 1928, Carol spent many years in Park Ridge.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late Charles Schultz, who preceded her in death in 2011. She was a devoted mother to Gay Sweely, and a proud grandmother to Charles Sweely and Eric Bumgardner.

For many years, Carol worked as a stenographer, a role that reflected her sharp mind and dedication. In her free time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, and sewing — hobbies that brought comfort and creativity to her everyday life.

Carol will be remembered for her quiet warmth, her independence, and the love she shared with her family through the years.

A private burial will take place on Tuesday, May 26, at Acacia Park Cemetery, 7800 W. Irving Park Road, Norridge, Illinois.
