Carol Ann Swanson

Carol Ann Swanson, born on December 18, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on October 22, 2025. She will be remembered as a caring individual who dedicated her life to her family and friends. Her professional career was spent at SBC Ameritech, Hewlett Packard & at JCPenney altering Bridal gowns.

Carol had a passion for life that extended beyond her career. She enjoyed hobbies such as golf, painting, pottery, and sewing, which she pursued with great enthusiasm. She was in craft shows and loved to be creative with her art. She spent the last few years loving life with her dog, Archie.

Carol is survived by her children, Edward Swanson, Norman(Bud) Swanson III(Tina), and Lori DeBlock(Neil). She was a cherished grandmother to Mark Ruffolo, Angelina Gabbert, Bryan(Anna) Swanson, Matthew Swanson, Nicole Swanson, Michael Swanson(Jennifer), Joseph Swanson(Renee), Jessica Horras(Ben), Joey Guzaldo(Erika),Theresa Abes(Sergio) and Vince Guzaldo. Proud great grandmother to Joshua Espeseth, Veronica Swanson, Parker Swanson, Kinsley Swanson, Owen Horras, Julien Guzaldo, Mateo Guzaldo, Lorenzo Abes and Elena Swanson.

Her beloved husband, Norman Swanson, and granddaughter, Nicole Swanson, preceded her in death.
Carol's presence in the lives of her family and friends will be deeply missed. Her smile and laugh will never be forgotten.
