Carolyn Cannon

Carolyn Cannon, 69, was born in Birmingham Alabama, grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and went to be with the Lord on March 3rd, 2025.

Carolyn (Cat) was loved by many and leaves to cherish her memory: Son: Antron Cannon. 4 Grandchildren: Kiairra, Latron, Kingston, and Jersey.  2 Great Grandchildren: Jha'Zmir and Melanie. Mother: Minister Mary Bradley (James, preceded her in death). Dear sister of Vanessa, Johnny, Phyllis (Lance), Arlene (Wilbert), Eugene (Tara), Dorene (Roderick), Rae (Roger) and the late Ted and Tony.  Grandmother: Johnnie Beverly (preceded her in death), Niece to Johnnie Beverly (followed her in death the next day) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Carolyn was baptized in the name of Jesus as a child and loved and knew the Lord as her savior. Carolyn worked many years as a dental assistant at Northwestern Hospital. Carolyn loved so many as if they were family and became like a sister to Annie and Elaine’s family. Carolyn had the voice of an angel and sang like a 1950’s movie star. Carolyn will be remembered as loving the west side of Chicago, talking your ears off, reminiscing about the past and cooking and eating well.
