Charlene Marie Cairns, born on August 25, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on April 23, 2026 surrounded by her beloved family. She was a caring and loving individual who left a lasting impact on those who knew her.

Charlene attended St. Benedict High School, where she built the foundation for a life filled with warmth and kindness. She spent over 15 years living in Naples Florida and enjoying the sunny weather. Above all, Charlene cherished spending time with her family and friends, which was always a central part of her life.

She is survived by her sister Kathleen (Patrick) Thornton, her nephew Michael (Carly), her nieces Molly (Logan Sander), Annemarie (Ben Fiedler), Aileen (Ryan) Finn and her great nieces Maeve and Bridie. They remember her fondly and will keep her memory alive in their hearts.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Julia Cairns and her beloved dog, Bosco.

Services will be held at St Juliana Church located at 7201 N Oketo, Chicago IL on Saturday May 16, 2026. Visitation from 10:00 until time of mass at 11:00. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Wright-Way Animal Rescue in Charlene's name.

Through her caring spirit and loving nature, Charlene touched many lives and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
