Charles "Chuck" T. Coffin. 84, of Lincolnwood, Illinois, peacefully passed away April 25, 2023. Chuck attended the University of Nebraska and North Central College. He worked as an English teacher and as an editor for Elks Magazine and American Society of Safety Engineers. He was a devoted member of the Elks Lodge and First United Methodist Church of Evanston, Illinois.  Chuck enjoyed music, sports and spending time with his family. He and his wife traveled extensively- to Europe, Canada, Alaska and other interesting destinations.

Beloved husband of Joan Coffin (née Westermann). Loving father of Holly (Dave) Snoeyenbos, Kurt Coffin and the late Eric Coffin. Cherished grandfather of Jocelyn Coffin, Elaina Coffin, Kathleen Mae Coffin and Caroline Coffin; great-grandfather of Jayden, Ariel, Athena, and Ayla. Dear brother of the late Robert Coffin.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 6th from 6:30pm until 9pm at First United Methodist Church 516 Church St, Evanston, IL 60201. Memorial service to be held at First United Methodist Church in Evanston Sunday, May 7th at 2pm.
