Charles H. Fawcett Sr.

Charles H. Fawcett Sr., 72, of Greater Cleveland, Ohio having spent the last year in Evanston, Illinois, after a long illness, passed away peacefully at home August 24, 2023. Charles was a dedicated and hardworking man who enjoyed spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife of 49 years, Susan (Ayrey) Fawcett; loving children Charles (Michelle) Fawcett Jr., James (Joan Iva) Fawcett, Kenneth (Brianne) Fawcett and Constance (Daniel) Parker; cherished grandchildren Stone, Avan, Skylar, and Lorenzo; caring sisters June and Carole (Fran); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents George Fawcett Sr. and Lillian (Weingruber) and his brothers David (Margie) Fawcett and George (the late Donna) Fawcett, Jr.

A memorial service will be held in Ohio at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
