Christine "Tina" Bednar Christine "Tina" Bednar, 72, passed away on August 6, 2026. Born on May 15, 1954, Tina was known for her kindness and devotion to those she loved. She touched the lives of many through her warmth and unwavering love for family and friends. Her gentle spirit, caring nature, and steadfast presence will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Tina was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dan J. and Estelle Bednar, and her brother, Daniel (Doris) Bednar. She is survived by her siblings, Robert Bednar, Patricia (George) Gilbert, and Lawrence Bednar, many nieces and nephews, along with cherished family members and dear friends. 

Tina leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories that will continue to bring comfort to all who loved her. May Tina be welcomed into the eternal peace of God's heavenly kingdom. May she rest in the loving presence of the Lord, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her, and may the road ahead carry her gently into eternity.

 There will be no visitation. Following cremation, Tina will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois on August 29, 2026.

Tina's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
