Christine "Chris" Bjornson

Christine "Chris" Bjornson Nee Nero, 47 years young from Tinley Park, passed away suddenly on September 15, 2018. She is flying high with the Angels and will never be forgotten. She is the loving and proud mother of two sons who mean the world to her, Joseph Dolce (Kaitlin) and of sweet Nicholas Bjornson. She is the beloved and cherished daughter of Rosemary and Vernis Glaenzer. And the treasured sister to Joseph Nero and Gail (Dante) Glaenzer. Dearest granddaughter of Rose (the late George) Fassler, Caring Godmother and Aunt Cookie to Jr and fond Aunt Cookie to Anthony, Rhiley Joplin & Abbey Gail. Adored niece, cousin and friend to many. Chris truly and deeply loved her family and her many friends became her family. Chris is preceded in death by her grandparents; Mary(Don) McCallum, Joe (Joan) Nero, Florence Glaenzer. Chris's soul shined bright to those around her it emanated love, laughter and strength. Chris was and always will be a beautiful soul, a wonderful mother, a keeper of treasures and a friend that will live forever in our hearts. She was always beside her friends and family when they were in need, she dried their tears and brought the laughter back into their lives. Chris loved deeply and genuinely and let the world know that they are loved. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. Services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Maher Funeral Home and burial will take place at Saint Johns Cemetery on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
