Clifford W. Pluister

Clifford W. Pluister, 85, of Antioch and formerly of Berwyn, Illinois at rest October 13, 2021. Beloved husband of Judy (née Torgersen) for forty-nine years. Loving father of Kirk (Sandra) and Brian. Treasured grandfather of Kira. Cherished brother of twin George (the late Joyce) and Phil (Becky); brother-in-law of Don (Kathleen) Torgersen. Dear uncle of Matt, Andy, Sharon, David, Steven, Scott, Dana, Guy and Jane. Friend to many. Preceded in death by parents George and Frieda and brother-in-law Jerry Torgersen, who he had a special bond with. Clifford retired as principal at the Cicero Public School District after decades of service. He was an avid reader of fiction, especially enjoying Tom Clancy novels. Clifford loved the outdoors and was an experienced fisherman. He also enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
