Curtis Bradley Vevang

Curtis Bradley Vevang, 84, of Arlington Heights, IL, passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2025. Beloved husband to Susan Witler Vevang for nearly 60 blessed years. Loving father to Jennifer Vevang Scheetz (Ronald) and Katherine Vevang Stoffel (Mark). Cherished grandpa to Billy, Rachel (Khristian), Gracelyn, Luke, Paul, and Megan, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Engwald and Grace Vevang, brothers, Parker, Grant, Gordon (Gloria). Adored brother-in-law to Marilyn and Mary Jean.

Curt enjoyed a fulfilling career with his industrial engineering degree from University of Illinois and later founded the Curt Vevang Management Engineering Company and Bradley Consulting Services.

He loved his family and friends, was a skilled woodworker, published poet, and enjoyed the great outdoors.

The family has listed the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO) and Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes Illinois (T1D) as charities for donations.

Service will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 916 East Central Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005 on Friday, June 20th, 2025. Visitation from 10AM-noon, memorial service at noon, and light lunch to follow at church.
