Dane Erik Vendelbo Laursen

Dane Erik Vendelbo Laursen passed away on April 2, 2022.  He is survived by his father, Jorgen Laursen and his mother, Judy (Laursen) Maass.  Also surviving him are his sister, Krista (Robert) Kowalczyk, his brother, Erik Laursen (fiancee - Kyndel Weirich) and his two beautiful nieces Karissa Kowalczyk and

 

Dane was born in Downers Grove, IL. on April 14, 1987 and graduated from Downers Grove North High School.  When young, he was very much involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and had a love for camping, hiking and traveling.  He was both very compassionate and funny at times.  He was very talented as an artist in drawing.  His passion for drawing started in preschool.

 

It is with sad hearts we have had to say good-bye to you, Dane.  You are now one of many endless stars shining down on all of us from heaven.  You may be gone but you will never be forgotten.  Much love from your family and friends.  RIP
