Daniel Vincent Callaghan Sr., US Army Veteran of Palos Park, formerly of Chicago's Beverly neighborhood (Christ the King) passed on May 30, 2025. Longtime former spouse of Mary Patricia. Loving father of Daniel Jr. (Michelle), Kerry and Erin (Barry). Cherished "Oompa" and "Papa" of Kaela (Gintas), Kelsey (Tyler), Kate, Moira, Emily, Sean and Connor and great grandfather of Aeneas, Leodas, Maximas and Evandras. Dear brother of Richard (Jan), Betty (Bud) and the late Patricia, George and David. Cherished uncle and friend to many. 

Founder of Callaghan Paving and various companies thru his career. Avid outdoors man, golfer, car guy, and lover of nature. He traveled the world enjoying his hobbies and smoking his cigars. Longtime member of Palos Gun Club, Northbrook Gun Club, Maywood Gun Club, and Beverly Country Club. He enjoyed spending time with his best buds and his family. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Per Mr. Callaghan wishes, there will be no services at this time.
