Daniel "Danny" Schaffer

Daniel "Danny" Schaffer, 69, of the Northwest side of Chicago, passed away peacefully June 7, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife and companion of forty-six years, Ettie; loving siblings Mary (Paul), Eddie (Marianne), Dennis (Kelly) and Patti (Tommy); seven nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews; and many dear friends. Danny was preceded in death by his devoted parents Donald and Margaret and sister Dawn. Retired stocker of twenty-six years at the now defunct neighborhood fixture, Bruce and Ken's Pharmacy. Danny was a kind spirited man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a big fan of Star Trek and delighted in watching television beside his wife, Ettie. Graveside service to be held at Lakewood Memorial Park in Elgin, Illinois; date and time pending.
