Born on December 6, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, Darryl’s sixty seven years were marked by unwavering dedication to his family and steadfast commitment to those he cherished.

Darryl was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheri Lathrop, whose partnership enriched his life immeasurably. Together, they nurtured a warm and welcoming home, fostering a legacy of love, support, and cherished memories.

Darryl took great pride in his role as a father to Ann Davidson and Eric Lathrop, guiding his children with gentle wisdom and unconditional affection. His family circle extended lovingly to his step-sons, Ryan Landry and Sean Landry, whom he embraced with kindness and care.

A source of immense pride and joy for Darryl was his growing family of grandchildren: Adrian Lanners, Emma Blunt, Angelica Landry, Alexander Landry, Lucas Landry, Dexter Landry, Ava Landry, Edith Landry, and Isabella Levander. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and his presence in their lives will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Darryl was also a cherished brother to Larry Lathrop and Kevin Lathrop, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, enduring bonds, and mutual support.
