Daryl "Fish" Woods

Daryl S. Woods, 65, of Matteson and formerly of Maple Park, Chicago, at rest on April 20, 2019. He served in the US Marines. Loving father of Sabrina (Paul) Metherell and Chantel Woods. Dearest grandpa of Jordan, Jacob and Johanna McClellon. Cherished brother of Marlon (Elissa) and the late Reginald (Betty) and Brenton (JoAnn). Beloved son of Herman Woods and Hazel Malone. Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. Alumni of Fenger High School and Control Data Institute. Born in Chicago, Illinois on July 1st 1953, Daryl S. Woods, AKA Fish, loved to fish, bowl and listen to rock and roll music. He was a mechanic in his spare time, worked for Xerox and worked maintenance in his later years, settling at Lawrence Manor Independent Senior Living. Memorial service to be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois.
