David M Davila

David Davila, age 66, a lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away on April 28, 2026. He was born on April 18, 1960.

David was the beloved husband of the late Migdalia Davila, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage before her passing just seven months ago. Together, they built a life centered on family.

He was a devoted father to Lucia Davila, Delia Wright, Daisy Davila, David (Wyatt) Davila, Michelle Davila, and William (Johaira) Davila. He was a proud grandfather to Brianna Wright, Tino Pereira, Anaillah Orozco, Perseis Walls, Jezalyn Davila, Aubrey Wright, and Jayden Davila, who brought him great joy.

David is also survived by his siblings Ismael, Daisy, Carmen, Willie, Jose, Miguel, and Pedro, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—playing dominoes, going to the casino, bowling, and relaxing with a Budweiser and a cigarette. More than anything, he valued time spent with the people he loved.

David will be remembered with love by all who knew him and for the life he built in the city he always called home.
