David Lee Smith

David Lee Smith, 73, of Rolling Meadows, formerly of Twin Lakes, WI & South Bend, IN, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord August 20, 2025.

Longtime former spouse of Judy Brinkerhoff. Loving father of Jemimah (Joseph) Podraza, Schuyler Smith, Logan Smith, & Nahum-Hugh Smith. Cherished grandpa of Mia, Francis, & Cora. Dearest brother of Tom (Janet) Smith & the late Thelma. A dear uncle and a fond friend to many, he will be dearly missed. In life, David was a jazz drummer, poet, and pastor/literature teacher with Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights.
