David Torres Cruz, 78, of Chicago's Portage Park and Uptown area, born and raised in Las Pierdras, Puerto Rico, peacefully passed away August 14, 2026. Beloved companion of Juana Otero; loving father of Leonides Burgos, Noemi (Jorge) Valezquez, Eda Lis Burgos, David (Carissa) Torres and Jenny Torres. Cherished papa of David III. Dear brother of Estacio Jr. , Efrain, Elias, Raul, William, Noemi, Iris and Luz. Retired machinist at Finkl & Sons.
