Debra pursued her education at the University of Washington in Tacoma, Washington, where she cultivated her passion for teaching. Throughout her fulfilling career, she made a remarkable impact at Blue Cap, a place dedicated to supporting individuals with special needs. Her proudest accomplishment was the love and commitment she brought to her role, enriching the lives of the students she taught.
In addition to her commitment to education, Debra had a zest for life that was reflected in her hobbies. She cherished her time at the Horseshoe Casino, affectionately referred to as "the boat," where she enjoyed gambling and sharing moments of joy with friends.
Debra is survived by her loving family, including her sister, Denise James-Wilson(the late Donald Eugene); her sons, Michael Coat James and Andrew Renardo James; and her brother, Clyde James(the late Rose Marie). She also joins her beloved deceased family members, including her brothers Patrick Anthony James and Michael James, along with her parents, Clyde James and Velma James. Her memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
