Derrick Eddmonds

Derrick Eddmonds, 45, affectionately known as "Mook", of Chicago's Southside unexpectedly transitioned on October 21, 2023. Cherished son of Wanda Eddmonds & Robert. Loving brother of Lorraine, Meloney, Kendrick, Robert Jr and Eric.

Derrick was preceded in death by his grandmother Mildred Eddmonds and nephew Darius Patterson. Derrick gave his life over to Christ at Power & Light Evangelistic Church. He attended Deneen in Chicago, IL.

At the age of 3 months old, Derrick was raised by his aunt Sheila Eddmonds. Who raised him as her own son. Derrick lived life to the fullness and was a jokester. He loved to sing, rap, listen to music and clean. He loved and enjoyed hanging out with his family. He also loved Tupac to the point he started wearing a durag and pierced his noise. Although Derrick may have had his challenges, he kelp a smile on his face.

Derrick was loved by all, he was an awesome, son, brother, nephew, family member and friend.
