Diane R. Piraino, a beloved member of the Chicagoland community, passed away on September 12, 2023. She was born on January 11, 1954, in Chicago, and lived most of her life in Elmwood Park. 

Diane’s warm heart touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. As a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she was always willing to lend a listening ear. Even during her struggles, Diane had a cheerful demeanor. Her passions were graphic design, playing poker, word games, and writing poetry. Her poetry has been published multiple times. 

Diane’s family was her greatest joy and source of love. She is survived by her husband of fifty years Sam Piraino.  She leaves behind her children John, Sam (Tue), Dorice (Mike), her grandchildren Alexander, Blakely, Genevieve, Anthony & Ashton.  She leaves behind her siblings: Michael (Mary), Joan (Stan), Jim(Angie), Joe(Krystal) and Chris (Laura).  She joins her sister Pat and brother Larry, mother Virginia Anderson and father Jack Linneman in heaven.
