Douglas Buffone, Jr

The family of Douglas John Buffone Jr., of Naperville, Illinois is saddened to announce his sudden passing on August 18, 2025, at the age of 54. A beloved father, son and brother. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born on July 17, 1971, in Park Ridge, Illinois. Doug or "Dougie" as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Doug will always be remembered for his generous spirit, his infectious laugh and his loving heart; he always went out of his way to make people feel seen and welcomed. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.

Doug is remembered by his children, Nicholas and Avery Buffone and their mother, Kris Svanfelds. He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Brockman, and his siblings, Stephanie and Talleri. He is also survived by siblings Ryan, Hailey, Heather and their mother, Dana Buffone. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Buffone, Sr.

A memorial service to honor Douglas's life will be held in Naperville with his immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Catholic Charities in his name would be appreciated.
