Douglas Michael Hayes, 65, of Palatine and Fox River Grove at rest October 3, 2022. Loving husband of Donna Yeiser Hayes for 42 years. Cherished father of Jessica (Kevin) Hillinger, Joshua (Kristin McCullough) Hayes, and Kaitlyn (Sean) O'Deay. Beloved grandfather of Ella, Matthew, Ethan and Anelise Hillinger, Nathan, Lindsey and Caleb Hayes, and Delaney, Addison and Kennedy O'Deay. Dear brother of the late Debbie Hayes Johnson. Fond friend to many. Longtime Sales Engineer retired from Superior Industrial Equipment of Sycamore, Illinois. Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Doug loved to live life to the fullest. The great adventurer. Whether riding dirt bikes, snow skiing, water skiing, mountain climbing, bicycling, parachuting, and racing his convertible, there was nothing he couldn’t accept as a challenge. He loved his family his friends and his God fiercely! No one didn’t know what sustained him through his illness….his eternal view of what was to come.

We will miss him but it’s not good bye just see you later in heaven Doug!!
