Eddie Lee Baker Jr., 60, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on August, 2026. Beloved husband of Carolyn Jane Simmons for 35 blessed years. Dear father to Tiffany, Timothy, Eddie Baker III, Diante and Diamond Baker. Cherished grandfather to Mathew, Haden, Jeremiah, Mariah, Pharoah, Jaylen, Gifti and E'lani. Adored brother to Edward and Kimberly Baker, James Baker, Willie Baker, Shawn Baker and Angel Baker. Loving son to Eddie L Baker Sr. and Levonn Perkins. Eddie was a longtime forklift operator. He loved football; and basketball. When he wasn't working on his truck, he was working on music. He touched the lives of many with his kindness, always ready to offer support and encouragement and his warmth and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he knew. He is a hero in the eyes of his loved ones, always putting others before himself, facing challenges with courage and integrity. HE always said, " Family comes first." This wasn't just something he said; it was the blueprint for how he lived every single day.  He will be missed and Honored in Life and Death.
