Eddie Thomas

A loving husband, Eddie Thomas was born on March 10th 1946 to Elijah and Amanda Thomas of Clarksdale, Mississippi. At an early age, he accepted Christ at Momria Baptist Church. Eddie was swept off his feet by Geraldine Burrage and was united in holy matrimony on November 5th 1984, where he remained a devoted husband for 35 years. Eddie went home on Saturday, March 23, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Elijah and Amanda Thomas, sisters Rachel and Alberta, and brother Emmanuel Thomas. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Geraldine Thomas, his four children Edward Thomas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Larry, Mary, Denise and Sandra of Chicago, Illinois, fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, six sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10:00 am at Faith United Missionary Baptist Church, 120 E. 115th St, Chicago, IL 60628.
