Edward James Woytowich

December 5, 1930 — July 2, 2022

Edward James Woytowich, age 91, US Air Force Veteran of Chicago's Ashburn neighborhood and formerly of the Clearing area, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his devoted family July 2, 2022. Beloved husband of Verlice (née Riffe) for almost 26 years. Loving father of Karen Woytowich Jefferson, Sandra (Michael) Woytowich Mikulski, Barbara (Peter) Woytowich Klein, James (Connie) Stiltner, Sandra (Robert) Stiltner Nimtz, Dianna (Joseph) Stiltner Dillon and Michael Stiltner; cherished grandfather of Clarice Bartelsen, Katrina Jefferson, Brian Jefferson, Patrick Jefferson, Keith Stiltner, Samatha Treadway, Ashley Kouba, Grant Nimtz, Brannon Durkin, Nicholas Klein, Jack Klein and the late Sean Stiltner; dearest brother of Doris Clark. Retired factory supervisor at Zenith Controls. Edward was an avid player of tennis and golf. He enjoyed  games such as horseshoe and bean bags and would watch most sports on the television. Spending time with his family was what he loved the most. Edward served his country as US Air Force Staff Sargent First Class and was honorably discharged of his duties on September 30, 1959.
