Elinor Lois Pruitt

Elinor Lois Pruitt, nee Gibbon, 94, of Evanston, Illinois, formerly of Glenview, Orland Park,
Mokena, Olympia Fields, Riverdale and Chicago Illinois, passed away peacefully in her sleep on
May 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Richard W Pruitt. Elinor
was the loving and devoted mother of James (Carolyn) Pruitt, Pamela (Dr Frederick) Hess,
Robert (Barbara) Pruitt and Janis (the late Dr Joseph) Osterbauer. She was the cherished “Noni”
of Cara Presnak, Jennifer Hess, Dr Christopher Osterbauer (Dr Angelica Lorenzo), Eric Hess, Dr
Andrew (Meghan) Osterbauer, and Dr Katie Osterbauer Asplund (Mitchell), her great
grandchildren Lucas and Abigail Presnak, and Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and
nephews.

Her life will be celebrated by her family at the Abraham Lincoln Veterans Cemetery.
