Ella K. Shy (nee Harwell), age 67, of Chicago; formerly of Hammond, Indiana; passed away on January 5th 2018. Beloved and devoted wife of Michael for 49 years. Loving mother of Anthony Shy, Bryan Shy (Tyrita Meyers-Shy), and Carla Shy. Dearest grandmother of Andrianna Johnson. Cherished sister of Victoria Nero (David), Rhonda Malcik (Robert), Robert Harwell, Adrian Harwell, RobinAnne Sullivan (Robert), and Craig Hartfield. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephew. Cousin and friend to many. Former congregation member of Bridge of Christ.
