Elva Maradiaga

Elva Maradiaga, 95, of Chicago's Northside, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2023. Survived by her loving children, Mirian Irias, Gestler Maradiaga, Rommel Maradiaga, Elva Cardoza, Julia Gonzalez and Mario Cardoza. Doting grandmother of Roberto, Harold, Osiris, Joel, Jennifer, Gestler Jr, Syliva, Rosario, Stephanie, Rommel Jr, Mayra, Shellie, Ronald, Johanna, Julissa Annette, Julissa Alejandra, Mario Jr and her wonderful 18 great-grandchildren. Caring sister to Estela, Roberto, Hector and Jose. Preceded in death by her children Oscar Cardosa, Ivan Cardoza and Rosario Irias. Well respected Military Secretary. She will be remembered for her love of dancing and music, watching her favorite soap operas, playing a game of solitaire, and buying her lucky lottery tickets.

Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Mary of The Lake Catholic Church: 4220 N. Sheridan Rd Chicago, IL 60613 on November 4, 2023 starting at 11:00am.
