Ernest Calvin Flentall Jr., 63, of Arlington Heights, Illinois and formerly of Chicago's South Side, unexpectedly went to be with our Lord August 4, 2022. Beloved son of Clara (the late Ernest). Loving brother of Yvonne Wright, Odessie (Craig) Owens, Delores Flentall, Willie Flentall and Shirley (Robert) Childress. Dearest father of Calvin, Antord and Jaleel. Adored grandfather of Jasper, MaKaylah, Quincy, Tilly, Camille and Lanya. Fond uncle of Schuyler, Jemel, Shaccira and Katrina. Treasured nephew, cousin and friend to many. Ernest was a fun loving brother and Unk as his nephews referred to him. He had a few great qualities about himself. The three that stood out the most was his love of stepping ,he could glide across the floor with multiple dips and turns while keeping in step with his partner.His second love was cooking. He had a knack for cooking mustard and turnip greens that were as good as his mother's, and lastly he could bake,fry and smother chicken.He will be missed Dearly.

Memorial Service to be held Saturday, August 13th at 1pm at Skokie Valley Church, 1050 Skokie Blvd. Wilmette, IL 60091.
