Esther Nadine Hilding Pirani

Esther Nadine Hilding Pirani, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on April 11th, 2026. She was born March 2nd, 1945, in Chicago to Frank Hilding and Rachel Nybakken. She will be remembered for her career in music as a singer, performer and educator; for her unyielding faith in the Holy Ghost; for her unconditional love for her children, Rachel, Benjamin, stepson Gino Pirani, and her granddaughters Zosia, Elle and Alicia; her undying loyalty to her late husband Leonard Pirani; as a sister to the late Judith Hilding and an adoring aunt to her nieces and nephews.

To celebrate the remarkable life of Esther, a service is being held at 1:00 p.m. on May 9th, 2026, at Calvary Memorial Church 931 Lake St. Oak Park, IL
