Ethel Rachel Hubka, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, after a long battle with dementia. Born on July 12, 1941, in Mabelvale, Arkansas, Rachel was a 1959 graduate of Stuttgart High School in Stuttgart, Arkansas and attended Arkansas State Teacher's College (University of Central Arkansas) before later moving to Chicago, Illinois. She dedicated over 25 years to the school bus industry, serving as General Manager of Stewart Bus Company. In 1989, she founded Rachel's Bus Company where she became an inspiration, known for her leadership and commitment to safety and excellence in student transportation.

Rachel was the daughter of the late John W. Moore and Myrtis (Barham) Jones. She is survived by her three children Deborah Bosco, Robert Hubka Jr., Janine (Vincent) Fattore, and her grandchildren Daniel, Michael, Valerie, and Juliana; Rachel's siblings Jack, Charles Ray, Mary Anna, Robert, Jonathan, Paul David, and many nieces and nephews.

Rachel's memory will live on in the stories shared by her family and friends, and in the hearts of all who knew her. A private celebration of life will be held to honor Rachel's life.
